Maya didn’t expect moving across the country to make her feel so lonely. So when her Lebanese family suggests meeting up with some friends of a friend she takes them up on it, even though she suspects they’re hoping she’ll hit it off with one of the sons. What she doesn’t expect is discovering that the son is Charlie, a professor she knows from work-and got off to a bad start with.
She also doesn’t expect that outside of work he’s both cuter, and more charming than she's used to.
